The Father of Modern Yoga

T. Krishnamacharya, widely regarded as a central figure in contemporary yoga, is renowned as the guru of legendary masters like Indra Devi, B.K.S. Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, and TKV Desikachar, his teachings have influenced numerous yoga styles today.

Whether individuals seek fitness, healing, or a spiritual journey. T. Krishnamacharya, with his ability to tailor yoga to diverse needs, remains a profound source of inspiration for practitioners worldwide.

Noteworthy for his exceptional qualities, including the ability to voluntarily stop his heartbeat, teaching royalty like the King of Mysore, maintaining impeccable posture even in old age, and being a devotee while encouraging others to find their own spiritual path, Krishnamacharya was truly remarkable.

His expertise spanned various aspects of yoga, encompassing mastery in asana, pranayama, dhyanam techniques, knowledge-seeking, prolific writing, oration, pioneering in therapeutic applications of yoga, and proficiency in Vedic chanting.

My teachings are purely based on lineage of the Yoga legend, T. Krishnamacharya and his remarkable students T.K.V Desikachar and Srivatsa Ramaswami.

What is Vinyasa Krama Yoga?

Vinyasa Krama Yoga is a dynamic and holistic approach to yoga practice that emphasizes the seamless integration of breath and movement. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, Vinyasa Krama is often referred to as "intelligent sequencing," where each movement flows seamlessly into the next breath, creating a graceful and meditative experience on the mat.

This style of yoga, founded by the legendary Sri T. Krishnamacharya, focuses on the art of progression and systematic sequencing, allowing practitioners to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness with each practice. Vinyasa Krama offers a structured yet adaptable framework, catering to individuals of all levels and abilities.

At its core, Vinyasa Krama teaches practitioners to cultivate a deep awareness of breath, alignment, and inner balance, fostering a sense of harmony between body, mind, and spirit.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a newcomer to the practice, Vinyasa Krama Yoga invites you to explore the transformative power of movement, breath, and meditation on your journey towards holistic well-being and self-discovery.
